This is the journey shaped by radio research that the National Radio Research Agency has taken through the invisible bridge of which name is radio waves connecting the whole world for over 60 years. As the hub of radio research in Korea, RRA has led the way toward a remarkable future by advancing people, technology, and industry in our daily lives. RRA has been there since the beginning of the journey. RRA makes rules and order in the world of ICT. RRA connects countless networks of broadcasting and communication, linking people to people and world to world and paves the safer way from the land to the sea and air to protect citizens lives through the power of radio waves. Furthermore, RRA establishes national ICT standards, including information technologies, cyber security, and electromagnetic compatibility, and promotes their adoption through ICT standardization seminars. At the same time, RRA actively participate in international standardization efforts to ensure the inclusion of Korean technologies in global standards. Radio waves must be used safely. RRA develops technical regulations about electromagnetic compatibility of various electronic devices and communication equipment to ensure their stable operation and establishes regulations for human exposure to electromagnetic fields to protect public health.
